JON CATO
Partner, Strategist and Idea Man
Growing up in South Georgia (below the gnat line), Jon may talk with a slow southern accent, but he’s a fast thinker. He’s a “connect the dots” guy that knows how to develop a killer marketing strategy and then dive right into creative concepts wrapped around that strategy. Whether he’s cutting the grass, taking a shower, enjoying an intimate moment with his wife …it’s downright unnatural (and a bit unsettling) the amount of time Jon spends thinking about ways to improve and enhance your marketing. He absolutely loves what he does which is perhaps why so many clients consider him a “trusted advisor” and frequently call him during evening hours just to bounce ideas around.
Jon has shared his expertise with clients in consumer products, food and beverage, retail, telecom, banking and finance, healthcare, electronics, pharmaceuticals, education, and many other business sectors. Additionally, Jon gives his time to a number of civic, professional and charitable organizations, including the United Way, Sales and Marketing Executives International and the American Advertising Federation. He is also frequently asked by universities and business organizations to explain the process of creating exceptional marketing and branding strategies.

ANDY GUTOWSKI
Partner, Creative Guy and Dad
.jpg)
Andy is one of the most unique people you will ever meet in the fields of marketing and advertising. Why? Because even though he’s extremely creative and artistic, he is NOT irrational and psychotic (and hardly ever wears black). As the leader and role-model for the creative staff, Andy has built a team with the ability to put serious smack-down on large, complex creative challenges. He’s developed some pretty cool campaigns for major beverage brands and is considered an expert source by industry trade publications for his insights on brand revitalization, packaging, product launches, and advertising. He and his team have won a bunch of awards (some you may have even heard of) and has appeared in PRINT’s regional design annual and other industry publications.
Most recently, Andy helped Red Stripe Beer, one of the most decorated beer brands in beverage giant Diageo’s award-winning portfolio, develop a new campaign geared toward intensifying Red Stripe as the mega-brand in Jamaica. The campaign includes point-of-sale, merchandising, promotional packaging and TV, radio, outdoor and print advertising. Andy also recently created new packaging for Riley Food’s Luzianne Coffee and Zatarain’s new baked seasoning product. Andy’s other clients have included Pabst Brewing Company, Café Bom Dia, Coca-Cola, Flying Dog Brewery, Triarc Beverage, National Beverage, Pepsi Americas, Community Coffee, Zuidam Gin, Nintendo and Tabasco. |

BRANDEN LISI
Partner, Strategist and Donut Connoisseur
Branden is an incredibly smart guy (and no, he didn’t write that line). This gives him the ability to very quickly understand your business model, your barriers and ways to overcome those barriers. Branden helps Object 9 clients better understand the centralized role that marketing plays in both an operational context and a competitive business environment. And just so you know, he’s really good at it.
In addition to serving a variety of clients, Branden is a member of Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and gives back through service in various community and professional organizations. In past years, Branden has been selected as Sales and Marketing Executives International’s Marketer of the Year, Advertising Federation’s CEO of the Year, as well as one of Baton Rouge’s Forty Under 40 by the Baton Rouge Business Report.
