Object 9's Work Named "Best of Show" in Regional Competition
released: Sep 16, 2009The Baton Rouge Area Chamber’s (BRAC) 2008 Annual Report, designed by Object 9, recently received Best of Show in the Southern Economic Development Council’s (SEDC) 2009 Literature and Promotion Awards competition. This marks the third time in four years that BRAC took home top honors for an Object 9-designed project, receiving Best of Show for the 2006 Annual Report and The Campaign for a Greater Baton Rouge in 2006.
In addition to Best of Show, the 2008 annual report garnered Best of Class and a Superior Award, while Object 9-designed Catalyst, BRAC’s monthly publication, also won a Superior Award. “The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) greatly values the talent, creativity and phenomenal execution of Object 9’s work,” said Adam Knapp, BRAC’s President and CEO. “The work our two organizations produce together has yet again received national recognition, which is welcome proof of a winning partnership.”
The oldest and largest regional economic development association in North America, the Southern Economic Development Council has members in 17 states in the American South including: Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
